Impact › Impact Area

At Özyeğin University, research impact refers to new knowledge going beyond its production to find resonance and create impact in society, the economy and the environment. In line with our vision of being “an entrepreneurial research university with high global impact,” we aim for the knowledge we produce to go beyond academic circles and turn into reliable solutions, responsible innovation and public benefit.
This area brings together academic research projects, publications, theses, data-driven collaborations, policy briefs and technical reports. We address the impact of research through five themes: Entrepreneurship and Digital Transformation; Justice, Equality and Well-being; Transformative Education; Environment and Climate; Community Empowerment.
In the sections below, you can explore the research initiatives carried out under each theme and the Sustainable Development Goals they contribute to.
